Grape Recipes

Grapes can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, including in cooking. If you enjoy grapes, try the creative ways we’ll introduce below.

Frozen Grapes

For those who love both grapes and ice cream, don’t miss this super easy frozen grape recipe.

Just pull the grapes from the stem, rinse them thoroughly, and dry them with paper towels. Then, place them in a freezer-safe ziplock bag and freeze the grapes.

You can enjoy them whenever you want, or pair them with other ice cream or desserts.

Grape Smoothie

Besides blending grapes into delicious juice, your blender can also make them into a refreshing smoothie.

There’s more than one way to make a grape smoothie. You can make it with just three ingredients: grapes, grape juice, and ice, or just water and the frozen grapes mentioned above.

Regardless of which method you choose, seedless grapes are recommended for convenience. You can also blend with other fruits. However, make sure your blender can blend or crush ice before making grape smoothies to avoid damaging the blades.

Roasted Grapes

Have you ever thought that grapes taste even better when roasted? Simply combine grapes, oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl, then pour the grapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200°C and bake for 30 minutes.

Roasted grapes can be enjoyed as a snack or sprinkled on salads, ice cream, oatmeal, and other foods. They can also be paired with well-seasoned meats, such as serving them as a side dish or skewering them for a barbecue.

Baked Grapes

When making baked cakes and breads, you can mix grapes into the dough or press them into the dough after it’s made, then bake them in the oven.

Stewed Grapes

When stewing meats like chicken and pork, add a small amount of grapes. As the grapes release their natural sweetness during cooking, you can reduce the amount of sugar you would normally add, or even omit it altogether.

When roasting meats or vegetables, you can also place grapes on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven. You can also add grapes to soups like chicken to enhance their sweetness.
