Ingredients
  

  • 5 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp salt and pepper powder
  • to taste ginger slices
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper powder
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sprite
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp turkey chili sauce

Notes

1. Prick small holes in the chicken drumsticks with a toothpick to allow the sauce to penetrate as much as possible.
2. Place the chicken drumsticks on a plate, drizzle with 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp salt and pepper powder, and ginger slices (to taste);
Beat five eggs into an egg wash.
3. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour.
4. Combine flour and cornstarch in a 1:1 ratio, adding 2 tbsp each, and 1 tsp salt and pepper powder.
5. Coat the marinated chicken drumsticks from step 3 with the egg wash, then coat with the powder mixture from step 4.
6. Place the chicken drumsticks on a baking sheet and spray with a little oil.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, or in an air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
8. Mix together 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of Sprite, 1 tablespoon of white sesame seeds, and 2 tablespoons of turkey chili sauce. This is your dipping sauce for the chicken legs. Once the chicken legs are baked, you can enjoy them with the sauce!
