Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp and Vegetable Paste

A simple and delicious lazy-person's recipe! The dumpling wrappers are translucent and bouncy, filled with a generous amount of shrimp paste and vegetable filling. A plate of this provides protein, vegetables, and a staple food—it's packed with nutrition! Even more fragrant with a dipping sauce of aged vinegar and chili oil!

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Carrot
  • 200 g Broccoli
  • 400 g Shrimp Paste
  • 20 g Sea Salt & Black Pepper
  • 100 g Wonton Wrappers

Notes

Blanch carrots and broccoli, drain.
Chop in a food processor.
Add shrimp paste, carrots, broccoli, sea salt, and black pepper.
Mix well.
Place the shrimp paste filling in the wonton wrappers, moisten three corners with water, and press firmly.
Place in a steamer. Once the water boils, place the steamer in the pot and steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
