Steamed Lemon Fish [Ready in 15 minutes]

In the summer, dishes like steamed lemon fish, with their slightly sour flavor, are appetizing and refreshing. Plus, it can be prepared in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g Tilapia fillet
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • Appropriate amount Ginger (minced)
  • half stalk Scallion
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Chili pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Notes

  • Finely chop the scallions, ginger, garlic, and chili peppers. Slice half a lemon and squeeze the juice from the other half.
  • Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
  • Wash the fish fillets and place them on a plate. Bring water to a boil in a steamer, place the plate of fish in the steamer, cover, and steam over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • After steaming, drain the water from the plate of fish, then add the chopped garlic, ginger, and chili peppers, and pour the sauce over the fish. Return the plate to the steamer and steam for another 3 minutes.
  • Once the fish is cooked, sprinkle with chopped scallions and garnish with lemon slices.
