- 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion
- 1 head cabbage (shredded)
- 10 tablespoons vegetable broth
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper (adjust as needed)
- 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- Zest a small amount of the orange, peel it, and dice the flesh.
- Pour butter into a pan and sauté the onion along with the butter until golden brown.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Then, add the orange zest, flesh, and vegetable broth and continue sautéing until the cabbage is tender, about 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cabbage with salt and black pepper, toss, and then add the sugar. Continue to stir-fry until the sugar dissolves and serve.
